A new shiny toy type thin information courtesy of Matt C - a chat room  that generates itself just by altering the url of the page you want to go to - type www.gabbly.comand then add the url of the site you want the chat room to appear in  - ie http://www.gabbly.com/cris-a-life.blogspot.com/ .As if by magic a floating chat room appears!!

From this months Wire magazine: - lots of free downloads from the Wu Tang Clan  - find them here and bring the muthafu*+ing ruckus :-) also free and mentioned in the Wire is the Occult Hymn ep by Dangerdoom who are an amalgam of MF Doom and Dangermouse, this can be found at here
In the same vein of summat for nuffink is the David Byrne and Brian Eno website where you can download tracks online, remix them , edit them - sample, loop and fuck with 'em
damn fine album by the way which has just been reissued -in a remastered format - think it'll go on the wish list at Amazon

Notebook from those nice people at google labs

Well what did I say about losing interest and giving up .... well the real truth is i havent had anything intereting to write down or any good links...one nice new thing from Google Labs is google notebook - real good research tool thingy that you can dump links and stuff into - You'll need a Gmail log in to use it and it needs a small d/load and install but its well funky

My mate Dave ( who very nicely links to this blog - probably the only sad fool to do so) has found a real good new feature of Pandora the music streaming website - you can generate RSS feeds to your stations to post in your blog - only i havent sussed out how to do this in blogger yet - a bit slow at times me!! still Im sure I'll get there
ooh the url for the Pandora feeds is here........and you may notice the wapping great link to the Pandora stations i created, at the top of the page - not quite where i wanted it so i may have to tweak the  html a little

Found this site - i'm sure i'm not the first and won't be the last  - the unbroken circle    it describes itself as 'An evolution of arcane traditional music' this in turn leads to a folk music d/l site where there is a free (yep free!) album to download. This site resides at woven wheat whispers   where 'The music of the fields will be heard'

check them out  - you never know you may just like it

If I can get my Firefox browser to open it (I'm at work atm and there are sometimes 'issues with the Portal or the firewall ' i will do a list of the albums I'm d/l from Emusic  Loads of good stuff - and I may actually get round to listening to some of it one day

Hi there humans!
this is the first bit of my first blog - dont know why I'm doing it or even what I'm going to write about really but hey ho I'll plunge into the blog life with gusto - probably get fed up and stop doing it after a couple of days - you know like when you had diaries for xmas when you were small - filled them with utterly crap minutiae for the first few days and then when the crushing banality of going back to school hit you, you would give up - rapid style!!!
